The new model ezi-ticket is compact - easy to use, and has a smart design! Fully integrated with Gap Solutions grocery retail software Shop Ezi Office or run it in your store in 'stand alone' mode. The onboard ticket printer uses the same paper stock as your lane printer, so no need to worry about special size/type preprinted numbered ticket rolls. January 2015: ezi-pos and ezi-manager CLOUD released!

Another new software development is now available from GaPs' Innovation Team; the team leaders and the software development team have put about 4 years into this development that offers retailers across all market sectors (outside of warehouse hosted systems such as IGA/Foodworks/SPAR etc.) and gives the retailers a very low-cost POS system that is fully functional with all the POS features required to run your store exactly how you want it. Even better is the back office system - it's ezi-manager CLOUD, and as the name suggests, it's a CLOUD based system that you can access from any web-enabled device, from anywhere at any time! January 2014: Innovation Team get new development facility!:

This facility has been created so that all software development and enhancement projects can be rigorously tested and examined by all those involved; software engineers, hardware technicians and Customer Support teams are involved in the development process. Our aim is to provide a  first-class solution for  our customers with minimum fuss and disruption. The Innovation Centre features the latest iMAC ‘all in one PC/Monitor’ that has been configured to run & display multiple POS terminals simultaneously with connections to the POS peripheral hardware installed in the suite.

May 2012: GaP Solutions are pleased to announce the launch of the new module for the industry-leading Integrated Deli-Service System - Ezi-ticket. This module provides a modern automated 'take a ticket' system that brings deli-counter customer queue management to a new level of simplicity and control. No more making sure the special pre-numbered paper ticket stock doesn't run out - the ezi-ticket printer uses standard register receipt rolls; staff getting frustrated because they forget to increment the 'now serving' customer display screen? not a problem with ezi-ticket because it's synchronised with ezi-scale and all deli-staff can see the ticket numbers being served and which number is next in line, as soon as the staff member touches that number on the scale screen the system display that number as 'now serving'; there's an audio module option as well so the announcement is made automatically! August 2010: Ezi-Qmanager brings front end relief to kiosk queuing!

This new module has been added to the acclaimed GaP Solutions ezi-mobile shop floor scanning suite, and it beats just about any other queue busting system available! Ezi-Qmanager isn’t limited to one scanner/scale that has been set up to operate in ‘single barcode multi-item mode’ this system will operate seamlessly across all scanner/scales in your store; you don’t have to retro-fit any special devices to the selected scanner/scale; with ezi-Qmanager if you scan an item in a customers basket/trolley that is ‘not on file’ you have the option there and then to correct that, with other systems, you won’t be able to fix this until you get to the checkout – that doesn’t help your queueing problem! March 2010: GaP installs the first self check out into an Australian independent grocer - Drakes Foodland Woodcroft (IGA), in line with Drakes key philosophy of doing everything they can to provide a first-class customer experience. They are the first IGA retailer to invest in the latest POS technology, and as the sole POS systems supplier to Drakes Supermarkets, GaP was prepared and ready to answer the call! Whilst the self check out the installation was underway (while the store was trading), there was quite a lot of exciting enquiries from Drakes customers asking when the checkouts would be ready to use; the store staff too were excited to be having the new technology installed in their store! Rumour has it there was quite a scramble from store staff to put their name on the list of applicants for training to be a self check out attendant!


December 2009: GaP Solutions are the first IGA Accredited software vendor to design an interface to the worlds biggest selling self check out system -  NCR Fastlane! Not just the first, but according to the NCR development team at HQ in Atlanta declared the integration project to be one of the quickest and smoothest developments they had undertaken - a pretty good endorsement from a global technology company for a hardworking, bright Australian business that wants to be a global leader too! May 2007: Ordering your goods at a deli-counter just got a whole lot easier!

We are delighted to have designed and supplied a great new concept for customers to choose and place their own order at the supermarket deli-counter, now installed in the Chapley Foodland store in Pasadena Adelaide. Three customer ordering terminals featuring new software specifically designed to make it easy for customers to understand and use to select the items they want to order, every item available from the deli-counter are displayed in categories on the top-level menu; the next step is to choose your item, select the method of purchase (each, by weight, by $ value etc.) keep adding items until you've finished and then hit the button to place (or review) your order! Simple as that - your order is printed for the deli staff to action, and the customer receives a printed ticket from the ordering terminal with their unique ticket number. The store loves this new concept, and customers are thrilled with the system.
